Each year at the Coquet Island nature reserve over 40.000 breeding seabirds return to the small but very important place, a tripple SSI status means that there are no landings on the island reserve only RSPB island volunteers and wardens.
We list below the main seabirds nesting throughout the anual breeding season,
These include:
Kittiwake.
Puffin.
Eider duck.
Fulmar.
Blackheaded gull.
Arctic tern.
Common tern.
Sandwich tern.
Roseate tern.
Canada and Greylag geese.
Along with these bird there are many other visiting birds, as they appear we will keep an up date on them and add to this list, thier numbers and if they remain on the island and begin to breed.
